Five Guys Burgers Gets Five Stars
The bill for four of us was $35. That included 3 burgers a hot dog, 4 fries and 4 sodas.
The burgers are huge and done well. Perfectly cooked, hand formed (2) patties piled high with lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, mushrooms, mayo, ketchup, mustard.
Kids should order the little burger and adults who are not gluttons like myself. The burgers are huge!
My daughter enjoyed her hot dog and refused to let me taste it for this blog. Smart kid.
On to the french fries-hand cut, homemade, with malt vinegar available. Bags of potatoes fill the front of the store. Can't get fresher than that.
Words of warning-go there hungry and expect to wait for a table at lunch and dinner times. Service was quick, but you may have to sit at seperate tables if your party is larger than 3.

Dude, I cannot WAIT to try this joint. People rave about the fries, rave about the burgers; not a single person I've talked to about the place has said one single negative thing about it. It's just that I have Rio Grande-phobia in the summertime, especially now with that Big Box-Mart down there. I'll just have to suck it up and go!

There was plenty of parking when we went on Sunday around 1 p.m. Like I said, great food, lots of it, a big place, but you might have to wait for a table.

It is in the WalMart plaza at Route 9 and Route 47 in Rio Grande, Cape May County. There is a WaWa on the corner, and the rest of the plaza is behind that. There is also a Lowes there, food market, Chinese restaurant, Boaters World, etc.
